This is not a general labor position—we’re looking for someone skilled, attentive, and passionate about working with animals and plants alike. Ideal for a vet tech, experienced farmhand, or seasoned caretaker looking for flexible, part-time work in a peaceful, well-managed farm environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Animal Care Halter and lead training for cows and equines Monitor animal health and behavior Administer medications, supplements, and basic treatments Identify health concerns and support general wellness Weeding, watering, and planting Seasonal bed preparation and composting Maintenance of plant health and production plots Light irrigation and aesthetic upkeep of growing spaces
Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with farm animals (cattle, equine, poultry) Familiarity with vegetable, herb, and flower production Vet tech/assistant background a plus but not required Physically fit, able to lift 50+ lbs, and comfortable working outdoors year-round Reliable transportation, strong communication skills Self-motivated, observant, and calm under pressure
Schedule & Pay:
Flexible part-time, 1-3 days per week
