This role requires core skills in animal handling, pet care, and animal restraint, ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals. Additionally, strong customer service abilities will help you build lasting relationships with pet owners. A valid driver’s license is essential and fulfilling walking duties efficiently. Join our team to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their families. Responsibilities Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being during outings. Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding and administering medications as needed. Handle animals with care and restraint, following best practices for animal care. Maintain clear communication with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and behaviors. Drive to clients’ homes to deliver services, ensuring a valid driver’s license is maintained. Assist with basic dog training and reinforce positive behaviors during walks.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PART-TIME DOG WALKER / PET SITTER

Experience caring for dogs and cats Physically able to walk and handle large dogs Live within our service area (your work radius will be a 10-minute drive from your home) Flexibility and willingness to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays (overnights and doggy sleepovers are optional) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that you are willing to put mileage on Own a smartphone and enjoy taking pictures Genuine love and affection for all animals
