We are a group of veterinary professionals dedicated to patient and client care with an emphasis on positive experiences regardless of outcome. Our Pet Grooming Concierge are important liaisons between our clients and groomers. Concierges should enjoy human and pet interaction, be self-motivated to complete daily pet care tasks, practice flexibility with workflow development, and possess the independent drive for growth. Requirements Competently speak and write the English language Ability to practice good money handling skills Efficiently perform clerical, cleaning, and personalized pet care with safe restraint practices Physically able to stand, move, and bend for prolong periods of time Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50lbs Embrace commitment to follow Safety Requirements Actively promote a positive, professional presence with staff, clients, and guests Responsibilities Perform baths and drying as directed by the groomers. Perform required procedures for all bathing and grooming patients, such as nail trims and ear cleanings. Clean and sanitize all tubs, cages and shaker cages at the end of each shift. Refill all supplies at the end of each shift shampoo, ear cleanser, etc. Recognize and record any unusual condition or abnormal behavior of any grooming animal; and bring these concerns to an attending inpatient nurse. Provide each patient with water prior to and after bathing and/or grooming appointments. Walks animals prior to groom or bath as well as before leaving for the day. Receive animals to be admitted for bathing appointments and take responsibility for their proper identification and for recording their respective locations. Release animals to their owners and insure that every animal released is clean and properly groomed and is accompanied by personal belongings. Confirm next day grooming/bathing appointments. Discharge grooming and bathing patients and schedule next appointment(s).
