Swift Road, Sarasota, FL 34231 Job Summary I am seeking a passionate, experienced and caring Pet Groomer to groom in my salon. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong background in pet grooming. This role involves providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. The Pet Groomer will work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and deliver exceptional customer service. Quite, small, yet busy salon. Great clients and new ones calling everday. Work side by side with the owner and a bather. Stop in and visit would love to show you around. Salon was voted #1 in 2024 & 2025 Best Groomer in Sarasota! Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling of various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, providing recommendations for care. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area with brand new tool cabinet & key lock for your tools. A brand new electric table. Handle animals safely and compassionately, using proper animal restraint techniques. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming services, pet health, and any concerns observed during grooming. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners. Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including restraint methods for various breeds. Experience working in a grooming salon. Passion for animals and commitment to their care and well-being. I strive to provide exceptional care for our furry friends!
