The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Animal Care, knowledgeable in leading a Team & building a positive culture, Delegating, Hiring, making the weekly schedule, working with the other departments in the resort, etc. This role requires excellent leadership skills, customer service abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional pet care & customer service to our clients. Duties Supervise all daily kennel operations, including staff management hiring & training. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the kennel environment. Oversee animal care routines, including feeding, exercise, and medical needs. Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing their inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate records of animal health, behavior, and schedules. Coordinate with Resort Supervisor for any medical treatments or emergencies. Manage inventory of supplies related to the Kennel Department. Foster a positive environment for both staff and animals, promoting teamwork and compassion. Qualifications Proven experience in animal care. Previous kennel management experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for animal care tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing records and schedules. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
