Flexible Weekend Dog Care – Perfect for Retirees! Game On Video Games & Comics Perry, FL 32348 Part-Time Dog Caretaker Needed (Lamont, FL – Near Perry) We run a small, responsible dog breeding program located in Lamont, FL (32336), about 20 minutes from Perry, Florida. We are looking for a reliable, responsible individual — preferably a retired or semi-retired person who loves dogs and is interested in making some extra income on the side. Our goal is to find someone who can help with daily dog care , allowing us occasional time away for family events or weekend trips. Right now, it’s very difficult for us to travel because of the need to be home with the dogs at all times.
Important Details About Our Dogs and Setup:
We currently have 9 dogs — 6 of them are puppies (so lots of playful energy and quick growth!). Our facility and dog runs are newly built and still evolving as we grow. As the puppies mature, routines will naturally shift (feeding schedules, exercise needs, training routines). We are looking for someone flexible and open to adapting with us as the dogs get older and the program expands.
Job Details:
Initial schedule: Weekends only , around 2 hours per day to start Duties include: Walking dogs on leash Helping get the puppies leash-trained Cleaning and scooping three dog runs Assisting during feeding times (organized chaos, especially with puppies!) Freshening water supplies We will personally train you on our routines and systems. Once comfortable, the role will expand to additional hours when we travel — letting dogs out, prepping food/water, and returning in the evening for feeding and checks. We are open to adjusting the system to make the work efficient and comfortable for the right person. This is NOT a short-term gig — we are looking for a long-term caretaker we can trust to grow with us and our program.

Experience with basic dog training or large-breed handling is helpful but NOT required — we are happy to teach the right person.
