We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal care and possess the necessary skills to ensure the well-being and happiness of our furry guests. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for supervising and interacting with dogs in our facility, providing them with exercise, mental stimulation, and a safe environment.
Duties:
- Supervise dogs in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Engage with dogs through playtime and socialization activities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the daycare area and kennels
- Monitor dog behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management
- Assist with feeding, administering medication if required, and adhering to specific dietary needs
- Provide basic grooming such as brushing and bathing when necessary
- Follow established procedures for animal handling and restraint
- Communicate with clients during check in/out procedures
Skills:
- Experience in an animal related field is preferred but not required
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques and dog handling
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of pet sitting or kennel operations is a plus
