Pet Care Attendant Woodstock Pet Resort 2897 Eagle Drive, Woodstock, GA 30189 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Care Attendant to join our team. As an Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care for pets during their stay at our resort . This role requires a love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage various pet care tasks effectively. You will ensure that pets are safe, healthy, and happy while maintaining a positive relationship with pet owners. Responsibilities Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, monitoring group play, and administering medication as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets during their stay. Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to the manager promptly. Offer companionship and engage in playtime activities to keep pets active and entertained. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet’s well-being and any issues that arise. Handle various breeds and sizes of animals with care and confidence, ensuring proper animal restraint when necessary. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to pet care, such as cleaning kennels or litter boxes. Experience Previous experience in customer service is preferred. Experience in pet care is highly desirable; familiarity with animal behavior is a plus. Skills in heavy lifting may be required when handling larger pets or moving supplies. Proficiency in dog handling techniques is beneficial for managing various breeds safely.
