As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that leave our furry clients looking and feeling their best. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. Communicate with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs, providing recommendations for care between visits. Handle animals safely and with care, using proper restraint techniques when necessary. Keep detailed records of each pet’s grooming history and any special instructions from pet owners. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner. Skills Proficiency in pet grooming techniques for various breeds is essential. Experience in dog training or animal care is highly desirable. Familiarity with veterinary assistant duties can be beneficial in understanding pet health needs. Strong customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and ensure satisfaction. Knowledge of animal restraint methods to safely handle pets during grooming sessions. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
