Grooming District Manager Happy Pup Spa 5522 New Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30341 Job Summary Happy Pup Spa, Atlanta’s premier dog grooming spa, is seeking a seasoned Master Pet Stylist to step into a strategic leadership role as District Grooming Manager. This dynamic position combines hands-on grooming, training oversight, and brand leadership. You will work directly with the CEO to guide the professional development of our grooming team across multiple spa locations while ensuring our high standards of luxury care are upheld. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Development Mentor and coach pet stylists at all experience levels Set, track, and review monthly performance and quality goals Foster a culture of learning, consistency, and positivity Lead regular grooming skills workshops and team huddles Training & Quality Assurance Oversee grooming operations to ensure consistency and excellence Conduct hands-on evaluations and support team members in skill advancement Assist in developing training manuals, SOPs, and standards Brand Development Collaborate with the CEO on grooming direction and brand expansion strategies Act as a brand ambassador and participate in community engagement efforts Help scout and develop new talent to align with future location launches Client Experience Engage with clients as needed to ensure top-tier service Support the grooming team in maintaining strong relationships with pet parents Promote education and transparency through grooming consultations and reports Innovation & Trend Integration Stay up-to-date on grooming industry trends and tools Introduce new services and techniques that enhance our luxury offerings Operational Oversight Support the implementation of grooming policies and safety protocols Provide coverage as needed and groom alongside the team (typically 3-4 dogs/day during training shifts)

Requirements Certification:

Master Pet Stylist certification required or equivalent experience with demonstrable skills

Experience:

10+ years in professional grooming with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or training capacity

Portfolio:

A collection of grooming work across multiple breeds and styles (digital preferred)

References:

Professional references from former employers or clients

Travel:

Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly to all Atlanta-area spa locations (Chamblee, Kennesaw, Smyrna, Roswell)
