As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services in a safe and friendly environment. Your expertise will help enhance the appearance and comfort of our furry clients, making them feel their best. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences. Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming procedures to ensure their comfort and safety. Conduct thorough examinations of pets to identify any skin conditions, parasites, or other health issues that may require attention. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options. Keep accurate records of services performed and any special instructions or observations regarding each pet. Stay updated on grooming techniques, trends, and best practices to continuously improve skills. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred; however, candidates with strong backgrounds in animal care or veterinary assistance may also be considered. Skills in dog handling, animal restraint, and general pet care are essential. Experience with equine care or kennel management is a plus. Familiarity with dog training techniques can enhance your ability to work effectively with various breeds.
