Position:

Paws in the Peach is seeking a reliable, experienced, and dedicated pet care professional to join our growing team. This is a long-term, consistent schedule position — perfect for someone seeking supplemental income with regular hours. You’ll be entrusted with providing excellent care to our client’s pets while helping us maintain the high standards our business is built on.

The Role:

Consistent weekly schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday daytime availability strongly preferred. ~8-12 hours per week to start, with opportunity for additional pet sitting work.

Primary duties will include:

Midday dog walking Occasional drop-in visits for cats and small animals Client communication, visit reports, and photo updates Maintaining safety, security, and cleanliness during visits

What We’re Looking For:

8-12+ month commitment (ideally longer) Prior experience working with animals: Pet sitting, dog walking, daycare, boarding, vet tech, grooming, or shelter work highly preferred Strong knowledge and comfort with dog behavior, leash handling, and pet safety protocols Dependable transportation (car required) Ability to self-manage a schedule and communicate proactively Professional, mature, and trustworthy demeanor Comfortable working in all weather and with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and client needs

Minimum Requirements:

18+ years old Ability to pass a criminal background check Smartphone with data plan Physical ability to walk multiple dogs safely and manage physical demands of the role

Bonus Points:

Pet CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with administering medications or working with senior pets
