Kennel assistant Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Kennel assistant Carolina Veterinary Hospital 1521 Broadway Road, Sanford, NC 27330 Locally owned veterinary hospital seeking experienced self-starter for open kennel position. Shifts include Saturday and Sunday, 3:00pm until 9:00pm with the option for additional hours during busy boarding seasons or for additional cleaning duties. Must have experience with dog and cat husbandry. Duties include feeding, watering, and walking dogs, general feline husbandry, administering oral medications to dogs and cats, laundry duties, general cleaning duties, and animal restraint when aiding veterinary assistants or veterinarians. Hourly pay based on experience and work ethic. Generous employee discount on veterinary medical care and boarding for employee pets. Must be able to safely lift and carry at least 50 lb. Daily care of a dog with a spinal cord injury is a significant part of the position (expression of bladder, assistance with defecation – can be taught for applicant without previous experience). Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
