Animal Welfare Clerk – PT 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Gwinnett County, GA Class Summary Job Description The Animal Welfare Clerk position is responsible for providing administrative support to the daily operations of the Animal Welfare and Enforcement Division. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent communication, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to multi-task. Essential Duties Greeting and assisting customers Cashiering and processing adoptions, reclaims, surrenders, and other related services Answering and directing phone calls, responding to emails, and handling various forms of correspondence Maintaining an efficient and organized office environment Maintaining accurate records, entering data, updating databases, keeping records of key information, and updating internal documents Managing calendars and scheduling appointments Other administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning and coping and/or as assigned Hourly rate $15.75 per hour Minimum Qualifications High School diploma OR GED An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
