Dog Walker/Pet Sitter Buddy Pet Ventures Inc Buford, GA 30519 Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and passionate Dog Walkers/ Pet Sitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care for our clients’ pets. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of dogs during walks, while also providing excellent customer service to pet owners. Duties

• Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and stimulation.
• Maintain control of dogs at all times, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary.
• Provide basic care for pets, including feeding, administering medication, and monitoring health conditions as needed
• Follow specific instructions regarding each pet’s care and behavior
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior and any concerns that may arise during walks.
• Ensure that all dogs are walked in safe environments, adhering to local leash laws and regulations.
• Track each each walk, including duration, distance covered, and any notable behaviors or incidents on our App
• Assist with pet sitting duties as required, providing care for pets in their home environment when owners are away or at pet sitter’s home
• Communicate with back-office team members as necessary Design your own schedule! This position offers a variety of possible job options; employees can choose which type of visit they would be interested in:
• Morning, evening, and weekend walks/drop-in visits
• Pet sitting and walks for regular workday or out-of-town clients
• Services also available for cats and other small family pets
• At home 24-hour pet sitting in sitter’s home
• 7pm to 7am Pet sitting at clients’ home These jobs are perfect for college students, stay-at-home parents, freelancers, active retirees, and animal lovers looking to earn extra money. Requirements
• Previous experience and/ or certification in animal care or handling is preferred; skills in dog training or veterinary technician experience are a plus
• Need at least 2 client references in animal care field
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Knowledge of animal behavior and experience with dog handling techniques is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple dogs at once while ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Ability to handle different temperaments and energy levels of dogs
• Must be physically fit to handle long walks and active dogs; ability to lift or restrain larger breeds if necessary.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen
• Must be over 18 years old
• This job operates in clients’ homes and outdoors; necessary equipment includes a smartphone with enough capacity to run apps and take photos and videos
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle will be required for transportation between client locations.
