Dog Bather/Grooming Assistant The Fetch House 1141 Eatonton Road, Madison, GA 30650 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and grooming, ensuring that pets receive the highest level of attention and care during their bathing sessions. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and well-being of our furry clients, while also providing excellent customer service to their owners. Duties Bathe and dry dogs according to their specific needs and breed requirements. Handle pets with care, ensuring their comfort and safety during the bathing process. Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area and grooming tools to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options. Follow all safety protocols for handling animals, including proper restraint techniques when necessary. Skills Experience in kennel or pet grooming environments is preferred. Strong animal handling skills, with the ability to manage various breeds and temperaments. Knowledge of pet care practices, including bathing techniques and grooming tools. Familiarity with animal restraint methods to ensure safety for both the pet and the bather. Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners. Background in veterinary care or as a veterinary technician is a plus but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
