Job Description
Zookeeper Georgia Untamed Zoo 684 Hightower Road, Hogansville, GA 30230 We are Hiring for a Full Time position. If you are interested in working at Georgia Untamed Zoo we would like to hear from you! Before you decide to send your resume or request further information please consider the following: You would be responsible for the care of the animals during all seasons. Winters are cold & summers are hot. Physical Labor- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs Our animals depend on you. Are you able to arrive to work on time? Also due to weather, events and other unforeseeable conflicts you must be flexible! Must have reliable transportation Must be 18 years or older Must be a diligent and self driven individual who REALLY likes animals About the Animal Care position:
- Feeding of animals- including diet preparation
- Behavioral observation of the animals
- Enclosure maintenance including upkeeping the grounds of the Zoo & enclosures
- Providing environmental enrichment for the animals
- Cleaning & assisting with upkeep of the facility
- Self motivated and people skills because you will interacting and educated the public
- Full time position

$10.00 – $15.00 per hour
