Groomer’s Assistant The Puppy Barber Loganville, GA 30052 Job Overview We are hiring for a Groomers Assistant/Bather. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Groomer’s Assistant, you will be responsible for driving the mobile grooming unit, bathing dogs, and aiding the groomer throughout the grooming process. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments of animals. Responsibilities Thoroughly and efficiently bathing, and drying dogs. Driving the mobile grooming unit to various stops throughout the day Properly drying and brushing out various coats on different breeds of dogs Assisting the Groomer in any and all grooming tasks Maintaining a clean work environment Safe handling of dogs Good customer service skills to speak with clients Qualifications Experience working with pets is preferred, but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including dog training and animal restraint methods. Familiarity with various breeds of dogs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
