Dog Walker BlueDog Andover, MA We are looking for walkers [young and not so young -retirees encouraged to apply! ] to join the BlueDog Team! We are looking for someone who wants to spend the day caring and walking pups in the Andover and/or North Andover area. Retired? This job is for you! Since our dogs bond with us and us with them! It is important that our walkers are committed to staying long-term. This position is part-time, but you get to build your schedule to what works best for you! All team members get their own puppy clients so there is consistency for the dog, the client and for you. Potential Hires need to ◦ Love dogs [of all breeds and sizes] ◦ Have good time management skills. ◦ Be able to communicate efficiently and effectively with clients and management. ◦ Be responsible, professional, and trustworthy. ◦ Enjoy being outdoors, able to visit with pups in all types of weather. ◦ Be able to have good follow through. ◦ Be located within 10 minutes of Andover and/or North Andover ◦ Have a working cellphone and able to work with a dog walking App. ◦ Own a reliable vehicle [clean driving record and car insurance] ◦ Be able to provide references. ◦ Be able to pass a CORI check [criminal background check] ◦ Be able to adhere to Covid – 19 Guidelines when needed to Walkers need to be available 9am – 4pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities Walk and exercise dogs according to their individual needs and schedules. Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during walks, using proper animal handling techniques. Provide basic pet care, including feeding and administering medication as needed. Maintain accurate records of each pet’s activities and any incidents. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ behavior and health. Manage time efficiently to accommodate multiple clients and their pets.
