The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing appointments, handling inquiries, and assisting with various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly welcome. Manage appointment scheduling and confirm bookings for pet care services. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pricing, and policies. Maintain accurate records of client information and pet care services provided. Assist in managing the flow of clients and pets in the facility to ensure efficient operations. Handle payment transactions and maintain cash register accuracy. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Provide basic information on pet care, training, and grooming services as needed. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in dog training or animal restraint is a plus. Knowledge of pet care practices, including grooming and general animal care. Previous experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., assisting with larger pets). Familiarity with kennel operations and procedures is an advantage.
