South Boston, MA Schedule:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (10 AM•3 PM), with occasional weekend walks Waggin’ Tails Pet Services LLC is looking for a dependable and dog-savvy individual to join our growing team of walkers in South Boston. If you’re passionate about animals, love being outdoors, and have experience handling dogs—including reactive ones—we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Walk and care for dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments Follow detailed care instructions from clients Maintain regular and clear communication with the Waggin’ Tails team and pet parents Ensure safety and well-being of all dogs at all times Provide occasional assistance lifting dogs into vehicles or onto steps (some may be senior or mobility-impaired)

Requirements:

Experience with dogs is a must, including handling reactive or strong dogs Reliable and punctual, with consistent availability during scheduled hours Excellent communication skills—texting updates and reporting issues as needed Patience and calm demeanor, especially in unpredictable or high-stress situations Transportation required•whether on foot, bike, or vehicle, you must reliably travel between appointments on time Bonus pay opportunities available for candidates willing and able to use their vehicle to transport dogs

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk long distances multiple times a day Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions—rain, snow, or summer heat Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs (e.g., assisting larger or senior dogs into a car)
