Mobile Dog Groomer Bark Out Loud Mobile Grooming 133 Hecla Street, Uxbridge, MA 01569 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mobile Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients’ expectations. This role requires both technical skills in grooming and strong customer service abilities to create a positive experience for pet owners. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and owner preferences. Conduct thorough examinations of pets prior to grooming to identify any health issues or concerns. Utilize appropriate animal handling techniques to ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs, grooming styles, and any observations made during grooming. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and building lasting relationships with pet owners. Assist in the care of animals in the kennel area as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Experience Preferred candidates will possess:
Experience in Mobile pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary assistance or animal care. Skills in animal handling, restraint, and basic dog training techniques. A background in customer service to effectively engage with pet owners and address their needs. Familiarity with various breeds of dogs and cats, along with knowledge of proper grooming techniques specific to each breed. Experience working in Mobile Shop or veterinary environment is a plus, as it enhances understanding of animal behavior and care requirements. $750.00 – $1,150.00 per week Expected hours: 40 per week
