Job Summary:
Greater Portland Pet Sitting is seeking dedicated and compassionate part-time cat sitters to join our growing team. This flexible position starts at an average of 5 hours per week, with opportunities for additional assignments based on your availability and our clients’ needs.
Responsibilities:
Travel to and from clients’ homes while they are away, spending 20-30 minutes caring for their cats. Feed and refresh water. Clean up after cats, including scooping litter boxes. Provide daily updates to clients via smartphone. Administer medications, if needed. Water plants, collect mail, and handle trash and recycling bins as necessary.
Job Requirements:
A genuine love for cats. Commitment to at least six months of working with us. Availability to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Must have a reliable smartphone. Have a reliable and fully insured vehicle with a valid driver’s license. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to pass a background check. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to provide professional references.
