Lakewood Animal Health Center is a fast-paced high quality 4 doctor animal hospital located in Lee’s Summit MO. We are conveniently located off I-470 and Lakewood Way. This makes for an easy commute from Blue Springs, Independence, and Lee’s Summit areas. Job duties include basic animal care such as feeding, walking, bathing, and providing play/enrichment activities for pets. Animal care takers need to be attentive and detail oriented as they are responsible for monitoring and recording daily pet activity including eating/drinking/elimination and noting and alerting a nurse or doctor if problems are suspected. In addition to animal care we rely on our Animal Care Givers to maintain a sanitary and clean hospital environment. The Janitorial duties include general hospital cleaning which includes mopping, laundry, and re-stocking. This is a physically demanding but rewarding job if you love animals and enjoy staying busy. Part time positions available. Candidate must be available to work afternoon hours on select weekdays and Saturday/Sunday daytime availability. Holidays shifts are required. Previous animal experience is helpful but not required. Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to pass a background check.
