24 – 40 per week About Us Judy’s Forgotten Jewells / Jewell Animal Hospital is a rescue-focused animal hospital committed to compassionate, high-quality care for every animal that enters our doors. We’re looking for a caring, dependable Kennel Technician to join our hardworking, animal-loving team. What You’ll Do Clean and sanitize animal habitats daily Feed and provide fresh water to animals based on species and health needs Observe animals for signs of illness or behavioral changes Assist with animal enrichment and socialization Help with animal intake: exams, vaccinations, restraint, and data entry Support adoption meet-and-greets and help match animals with families Keep facility clean (laundry, dishes, mopping, janitorial tasks) Maintain the supply stock and organization What We’re Looking For Experience in a kennel or animal care setting preferred (but not required) Passion for animal welfare and a desire for hands-on experience Knowledge of basic animal behavior and health a plus Friendly, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills Ability to lift, clean, and be on your feet for most of the shift Must work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (Thurs/Mon optional for full-time) Reliable transportation to St. Louis, MO 63109 Perks & Benefits Paid time off Employee discount on services Work directly with animals every day Supportive and mission-driven team Apply today and make a difference for animals in need!
