Pet Transporter AA Pet Taxi & Transport LLC Connelly Springs, NC 28612 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transporter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient transportation of animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being during transit. This position requires a strong background in animal handling and care, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Responsibilities Safely transport animals to and from various locations, including veterinary clinics, kennels, and pet care facilities. Ensure the comfort and safety of animals during transit by using appropriate restraint techniques. Assist with heavy lifting and handling of larger animals as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport vehicles. Communicate effectively with team members regarding the needs and behaviors of transported animals. Provide basic care for animals during transport, including feeding and hydration when applicable. Document any relevant information about the animals being transported for record-keeping purposes. Qualifications Previous experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques is a plus. Experience working as a veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or in a kennel environment is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
