Dog Attendant Baxter’s Playhouse 160 North New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28054 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, particularly dogs, and a strong desire to provide exceptional care in a daycare setting. Duties

• Supervise and interact with dogs in a group play environment
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in the daycare facility
• Feed, walk, and provide water to dogs as needed
• Administer medications as directed by pet owners
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the dogs
• Assist with bathing and grooming of dogs
• Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts
• Provide basic obedience training and mental stimulation activities Skills
• Experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is preferred
• Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical demands of the job
• Proficient in dog handling, animal restraint, and pet care techniques
• Strong customer service skills with pet owners
• Knowledge of pet grooming and basic dog training is a plus
