Our office is located Greensboro, NC. We are currently looking to expand our grooming department. We have a position available for an experienced groomer/pet stylist for our busy general practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly experienced groomer to join our team!
Ideal Candidate:
Comprehensive knowledge of grooming techniques for all breeds of dogs and cats Excellent animal handling skills, utilizing Fear Free techniques Professional customer service skills and strong client relations experience Ability to perform all grooming services, including clipping, medicated and general cleansing, pedicures, and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet Ability to groom a full schedule of dogs per day in a busy practice environment Maintain a sanitary grooming room, including but not limited to: cleaning cages, tubs, and grooming tables; vacuuming and mopping the floor; cleaning clipper blades, scissors, and brushes after use. Availability to provide grooming services during normally scheduled practice hours, Monday –
Friday Requirements:
Grooming certification and/or participation in a grooming training program preferred 2 years of prior grooming experience Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service Must be familiar with standard cuts for all breeds Must be reliable, a team player with a positive attitude, and must have a great work ethic. Must maintain a clean and healthy environment for clients.
