• Good communication skills.
• Must provide 2 references.

Position Overview:

Holly’s Dog Sitting is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team to lead our House Sitting program. This position will also include opportunities for drop-in services, assistant work at our main facility and wedding services. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing top-tier care to dogs, has a flexible schedule, and is eager to contribute to a positive and safe environment for our furry guests. As an independent contractor (1099), you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service and care. This is not a full-time position but we are able to work around your schedule! If you have a job already with short shifts that provides you the flexibility to pet sit for others, this is perfect for you!

Hours and Availability:

• Must be willing to stay overnight in client’s homes and have the ability to spend atleast 6-8 hours at client’s homes during the day.
• Assistant hours will usually be 3-6pm on weekdays.
• Drop-Ins and House Sitting are paid by service, tailored to client needs.
• Must be willing to travel throughout Mooresville and surrounding areas for drop-ins and house sitting.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

Pet Care:

• Follow detailed care instructions to ensure the well-being of each dog. Commit to shifts and stay the entire time.
• Use the provided platform to adhere to medical and feeding instructions.
• Manage large groups of dogs safely and effectively.

Cleaning:

• Clean up after dogs, including handling vomit, feces, and general messes.
• Perform general housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean environment.

Administrative Work:

• Take photos of dogs for client updates and marketing purposes.
• Utilize computer programs like Canva and Wix, as well as social media business profiles, to create posts and updates.
• Learn and use our pet sitting platform to accept requests, schedule clients, and manage invoices.
