Pet Sitter/Dog Walker Position Available In Nash, North Carolina

Pet Sitter/Dog Walker Lazy Days Pet Sitting Rocky Mount, NC 27804 We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals because we care for more than just dogs and cats. You may be asked to care for anything from fish to horses! Someone who has a basic knowledge of pet care and behavior. And also a person with commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Pet care responsibilities include:

• Walking dogs of various sizes and breeds
• Cleaning up after dogs during walks
• Providing fresh water and food as needed
• Light grooming (if needed)
• Administering medication as directed by pet owners
• Giving lots of love and attention Home care responsibilities include:
• Retrieving the mail (labradors not always included)
• Taking the trash to the road for pickup
• Watering plants

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma; college preferred but not required
• Clean background check required
• Clean driving record and driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Ability to work independently
• Prior experience working in veterinary medicine or another animal care profession is preferred but not required.
• Due to the nature of this job, proof of

COVID-19

vaccine will be required. Flexible schedule is a MUST. You will be working 2 to 3 weekends a month as well as mornings or evenings during the week. During peak times (summer and holidays), you may be asked to work during the week. Also short notice work will be required as some clients ask for same day services.

• 9p Lazy Days currently pays by the job: $8/30 minute job with opportunities for increase after one year.
