Job Responsibilities:
Applicant must be a self-motivated team player who values custom service. We are seeking individuals that will enrich a positive work environment with a willingness to work hard and have fun while doing so. We are a busy practice so you must enjoy a fast pace and must be able to switch gears quickly. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting groomers with bathing and other grooming needs , keeping groomers facility clean and sanitized, walking dogs in the groomers care, utilizing medical software, and client service and communication. The bather/groomer assistant is a part time position and hours are typically M-F from 8am-12 or 1PM (20-25 hours a week). If applicants are seeking full time work, we have the option to hire for a cross trained position helping in our boarding and daycare facility or another area of the hospital depending on applicant skills and interest.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be comfortable working will all breeds of dogs and cats (typically cats are sedated). Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs independently and have reliable independent transportation. They must be able to stand for 3-4 hours at a time without assistance. We are looking for a long term team member. If you are looking for a short term job please do not apply.
