Dog Care Associate 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars 5000 Sardis Drive, Indian Trail, NC 28079 Charlotte Kennels is looking for employees who love to spend time with animals and don’t mind cleaning their messes. We are interested in employees who don’t have any issues with transportation, who work well with others, and who are eager to learn more about our four legged friends. Shifts begin at 7am for the morning and go until around 12pm, and begin 3pm for the afternoon shift and last until around 7pm. Responsibilities include taking dogs out to potty, sweeping and mopping their rooms, feeding, spending time with individual dogs or in group play, laundry, dishes, standard cleaning type things. You will work with multiple other employees per shift and must be friendly and have a healthy, positive attitude. We have a great group of employees who get long well, are comfortable trading shifts, and treat each other with respect; that is the kind of culture we intend to keep. This is not a job where calling out on the day of your shift is okay. Because there are living creatures that rely on us to be here to take care of them , calling out without coverage is not an option. We will not be reaching out to applicants who do not have either a resume or a cover letter.
