We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As our dog park check-in staff, you will be responsible for greeting human customers and their dogs upon arrival, ensuring they have met all of the criteria required to use our dog park, and ensuring that our indoor dog park is clean and well-maintained. Duties Supervise and interact with dogs in our indoor dog park, ensuring their safety and well-being. Being open and friendly with customers. Work with the team to maintain the cleanliness of the dog park (helping prepare the indoor dog park for opening, keeping dog water bowls clean and fresh, cleaning any bathroom messes from dogs, etc.). Monitor dog park activities to ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Provide information to customers regarding services that West Street Dog offers, and any upcoming events we are hosting. Perform basic pet care tasks such as feeding, watering, and administering medications to our canine guests when necessary. Requirements Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is strongly preferred. Previous experience in customer service, or reception-type duties is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and bar patrons. Physical stamina to perform duties that may include lifting or moving animals up to 50 pounds. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential. The hours per week will range from 15-25 hours. The shifts required for this position are Friday-Monday weekly. Being able to work weekends is a must! We are only able to interview applicants who are at least 18 years of age or older due to ABC liquor laws. A reliable form of transportation is a job requirement.

Shifts are as follows:

Friday (3PM-8:45PM), Saturday (1PM-7:45PM), Sunday (1PM or 2PM – 7:45PM), Monday (3PM-8:45PM). You will not be expected to work each of these shifts every week, but a few of these, varying week-by-week.
