Pet Groomer Barks! Grooming (Coming Soon) Raleigh, NC 27606 Job Summary We are seeking 2 dedicated and passionate Pet Groomers to join our team at a new salon opening July 2025. The ideal candidates will possess a strong love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care and grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients’ expectations. •3+ years grooming experience required. Higher commission potential for demonstrated knowledge of Fusion grooming techniques. •Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and other pets. Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming procedures to ensure their comfort and safety. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, providing recommendations for care as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, tools, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions. Provide additional pet care services such as pet sitting or kennel management as required. Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends in pet care. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred. Strong skills in dog handling, animal restraint, and overall animal care. Knowledge of various breeds, their specific grooming needs, and behavior patterns. Experience with equine care is a plus but not mandatory. Familiarity with veterinary practices or dog training techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and their pets. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
