The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients’ expectations. Responsibilities Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions through proper animal restraint techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any observed health concerns. Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service quality. Assist with general pet care duties as needed, including feeding, walking, or monitoring pets in the facility. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn. Skills in animal handling, including dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods. Knowledge of pet care practices, including basic veterinary knowledge or experience as a veterinary technician is a plus. Familiarity with equine care or other animal care experiences will be considered an asset.
