PART TIME POSITION AVAILABLE

– Come join our team at our local, family grown daycare, boarding and grooming center! We are currently overbooked, and understaffed for our grooming demand. Customers are calling and we are having to add the to our ever growing wait list. We are looking for two experienced Groomers to join our pet care team. Our ideal candidate is an animal lover who has prior training and experience. You must be comfortable bathing dogs of various breeds and sizes. In addition to bathing, your grooming duties will include nail clipping, ear-cleaning, and anal gland expression. We expect candidates for this position to have the trimming and strong shearing skills necessary to fulfill client expectations. As a Groomer, you should have a passion for helping our animal friends look their best. Groomer Duties and Responsibilities Bathe and dry pets Trim or shear animal coats according to owner specifications Clip or grind pet’s nails as necessary Perform ear-cleaning services as necessary Groomer Requirements and Qualifications Prior grooming experience is a requirement Hand shearing and scissoring skills Comfort working with various breeds of dogs Ability to work with dogs that weigh over 60 lbs. Communication skills Patience This is a commission based position.
