Full Job Description Full-Time Kennel Technician Location:

Sandown, NH Schedule:

Full-Time | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Do you have a passion for animal care and or helping the lives of Dobermans in a shelter environment? Doberman Rescue Unlimited (DRU) is looking for a dedicated full-time kennel technician to join our team and help provide top-notch care to our dogs.

Position Details:

Hours:

12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5 days/week

Location:

On-site at our Sandown, NH facility

Start Date:

ASAP Responsibilities include: Feeding, cleaning, and daily care of dogs Administering medications and observing behavior/health Maintaining a clean and safe kennel environment Assisting with intakes and dog handling Supporting enrichment and basic training efforts

Required Qualifications:

Strong work ethic and reliability Comfortable working with large dogs, especially Dobermans Ability to follow protocols and work independently Must be 18+ with reliable transportation Previous or in animal care is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (up to 50 pounds). Experience with dog handling and training is advantageous. Familiarity with pet sitting or veterinary practices is beneficial. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Compassionate attitude towards animals with a commitment to their welfare. Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain attention to detail.
