Duties:

“` Fast growing luxury grooming salon seeks professional, reliable, experienced groomer to assist is all aspects of salon.

• Provide SAFE professional pet grooming services to clients’ pets, including (but not limited to) bathing, brushing, anal glands (when requested) haircuts, ear hair cleaning, nail trimming and filing.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets during the grooming process.
• Handle and restrain pets as necessary to complete grooming tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area.
• Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences at check-in and check-out
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from pet owners.
• Keep accurate records of each pet’s grooming history in our salon booking software “`

Qualifications:

• 2+ YEARS

MINIMUM GROOMING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Must be able to groom 5-6 pets during scheduled shift with minimum supervision
• Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements.
• Ability to handle and restrain pets safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Physical stamina to assist with team lifting of certain breeds and standing for extended periods of time.
• Familiarity with basic veterinary care procedures is a plus (not a requirement)
• Must speak, read and write English.
