The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care for animals in our facility, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, and exercising dogs. Maintain cleanliness in the kennel area by regularly cleaning and sanitizing kennels, play areas, and equipment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervising staff or veterinarian. Ensure that all dogs receive proper socialization and interaction throughout the day. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their animals’ needs and behaviors. Perform heavy lifting as required to manage larger breeds or heavy equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred. Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards both animals and their owners. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with various types of animals. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
