Pet bather/groomer Pawsh Paws Pet Parlor Hamburg, NY 14075 Job Overview Pawsh Paws Pet Parlor is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Stylist to join our pack. The ideal candidate will have a strong love for animals and a minimum of 3 years hands on experience. As a Pet Groomer/bather, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services. A willingness to help others and work as a team is required. We seek lots of continued education and grooming fun! Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of each pet’s coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Grooming all breeds and knowing breed standards Nail clipping Answering phones, making appointments Cleaning and sanitizing often. Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by regularly sanitizing tools and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations based on the pet’s needs. Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions. Ensure pet safety is priority multitasking as required Lifting and/or moving heavy pets and objects. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Requirements Strong knowledge of animal behavior, handling techniques, and care Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Familiarity with various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A compassionate attitude towards animals/others a commitment to their well-being. Will float between locations.
