BACK UP WALKER

position where youwill be our go-to person when a regular walker is unavailable due to sickness, vacation, or when new clients come in. This is an on-call position, where flexibility and adaptability are key. You’ll ensure that every pet receives consistent and high-quality care, even when their regular walker isn’t available. As a back up walker you will be on a base weekly salary of $600 whether there are walks or not. Anything walks that exceed that amount will be in addition to the $600/week What we expect from a TruWalks team member: Unconditional love for animals is a MUST Must be comfortable around all breeds and sizes of dogs. Have a working smartphone with a data plan. Are consistently present for work Able to handle a physically demanding job Can work in all kinds of weather conditions (rain, heat, snow, etc..) Must be energetic, caring, and motivated Previous experience with dogs is preferred; but not necessary. Possibility for raises and promotions for those who possess a strong work ethic. Possibility for extra week and weekend shifts Opportunity to board dogs in your home a plus but not a requirement. Prior experience as a dog walker, pet sitter, dog sitter, pet care, animal care a plus! We want people who want to grow with us professionally as we expand and delegate managerial roles.
