The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. This role involves working closely with pets of various breeds and temperaments, ensuring their grooming needs are met while also providing a positive experience for both the animals and their owners. This role is also part-time temporarily. As the busy season kicks in, ideally we are looking for someone who wants to become full time, and wants to grow with our company. This position is hourly pay with 100 % of tips. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention. Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and any observations made during the grooming process. Keep detailed records of services performed on each pet for future references. Qualifications 2 year experience in pet grooming is preferred; certification in pet grooming or related fields is a plus. Knowledge of dog handling and animal care practices. Experience as a veterinary technician or in a kennel environment is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Ability to handle heavy lifting associated with larger breeds or multiple animals. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
