Experienced Dog and Cat Groomer Shampoochie LLC Washingtonville, NY 10992 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. You must be able to groom both dogs and cats. We are seeking someone with experience. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of pets while ensuring their comfort and safety during the grooming process. We are looking for someone who can work 3-5 days per week. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9AM to 5PM.

Responsibilities:

• Provide grooming services for mainly dogs but also cats.
• Grooming cats is a MUST
• do not apply if you cannot bathe and shave a cat.
• Perform bathing, brushing, hair trimming, and nail clipping according to client specifications.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of pets during the grooming process; we approach every animal with a gentle touch and cultivate a calm environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about grooming services.
• Must be able to lift large dogs and safely handle senior pets as well as scared/nervous dogs that may be more difficult to handle.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a pet groomer for a minimum of two years. Please only apply if you have grooming experience. Cat grooming is a MUST.
• Knowledge of different grooming techniques and styles for various breeds of pets.
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively.
• Proficiency in heavy lifting and physical stamina required for handling larger pets or animals.
