Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Horse Groom to join our team. As a Horse Groom, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of our horses, ensuring their well-being and providing them with the necessary care they need. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of horse care and handling. Pay will be determined by experience and Performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, grooming
• Clean stables and maintain a clean and organized environment
• Monitor horses for any signs of illness or injury and report to management
• Assist with veterinary visits and administer medications as directed
• Operate farm machinery for tasks such as mowing pastures or spreading manure
• Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance as needed

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of horse care, handling, and behavior
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with horse care
• Familiarity with farm machinery operation and maintenance
• Experience in growing or gardening is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment repairs is preferred
