Animal Care Attendant – Part time 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 20 Wiedy Road, Kingston, NY 12401 Ulster County SPCA is seeking a highly motivated, organized individual who is passionate about animal care and welfare, strives for excellence and excels in working in a team environment. Duties include but are not limited to providing daily care for all animals at the UCSPCA from intake to adoption including basic cleaning, feeding and socialization; facilitating adoption appointments and introducing visitors and potential adopters to animals; and providing quality customer service to all clients. If you are a friendly, self-motivated, reliable, flexible and detail-oriented individual who is willing to learn methods of animal handling, this position may be for you. Valid driver’s license, solid people skills, and having a sense of pride in all you do is a must. This position requires lifting, bending and spending long periods of time on your feet. This is a predominantly cleaning position.
The shift is two days:
Saturday and Sunday from 7:30- 4:00pm. Please send both your resume and cover letter to be considered for the position.
