Kennel Manager Katz Dogs K9 35 Middle Road, Perkasie, PA 18944 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kennel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kennel facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and management, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all pets. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a love for animals, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Duties Supervise daily kennel operations, including the care and handling of animals. Ensure that all animals receive proper feeding, cleaning, and exercise. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility. Train and manage staff in animal handling, care procedures, and safety protocols. Develop and implement policies for animal care and facility management. Monitor the health and behavior of animals; coordinate with staff as needed. Handle customer inquiries and maintain positive relationships with pet owners. Manage staff and oversee daily tasks to ensure efficient operations. Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or animals as necessary. Manage inventory to assure we order properly Qualifications Previous experience in kennel management or a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of pet care practices. Experience in animal restraint techniques is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care is required. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and clients is required. A compassionate attitude towards animals with a commitment to their well-being.
