Experienced Dog Groomer Strut Your Pawz Grooming, LLC Mc Clellandtown, PA 15458 Job Overview •MUST have Experience• Strut Your Pawz Grooming is looking to hire either Part Time or Full Time experienced dog groomers. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of private salon experience. And those comfortable to work one-on-one with pets. As we do not use bathers or assistants unless we have apprentices at the time. Responsibilities for Dog Groomer Clean the dog’s teeth Maintain an upbeat attitude Calm an anxious dog Ensure company policies are being followed Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need Shampoo and wash a dog’s hair or fur Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners Cut or shave a dog’s hair or fur Qualifications for Dog Groomer High School diploma or GED equivalent Ability to work with other groomers Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 100 pounds with help. Grooming abilities of 2+yrs. Calming presence to sooth dogs Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time Ability to pass a background check Great communication skills Ability to work on a team This position is based outside of Uniontown with flexible hours ranging from PT to FT depending the needs of employee. We are seeking at minimum a 24/hrs a week experienced pet groomer. This position is a commission/tip paid position. Your skills, experience, and speed of grooming will affect your general average of pay.
