As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to various breeds of dogs and cats, maintaining their hygiene, and enhancing their appearance while ensuring their comfort and safety. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats of all breeds. Assess the health and condition of pets prior to grooming and report any concerns to pet owners. Use appropriate grooming tools and techniques to achieve desired results while ensuring the safety of the animals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs, behaviors, and any recommendations for care. Handle animals with care, using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort during grooming sessions. Stay updated on current trends in pet grooming styles and techniques to provide clients with the best possible service. Requirements Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is mandator. Strong animal handling skills with experience in dog handling or veterinary assistance being a plus. Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both pets and their owners. A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.
