Dog Walker and Pet Sitter Paramount Pet Care Mountain Top, PA 18707 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional care for dogs while ensuring their safety and well-being during walks. This role requires strong communication skills, as you will be interacting with pet owners and providing updates on their pets’ activities. Responsibilities Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization. Monitor the behavior and health of dogs during walks, reporting any concerns to the pet owner. Maintain a positive relationship with clients through excellent customer service. Ensure all dogs are leashed properly and follow safety protocols at all times. Clean up after dogs during walks, maintaining a responsible approach to pet ownership. Assist with additional tasks such as pet grooming or sitting when needed. Qualifications Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to handle various breeds and sizes of dogs with confidence. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being. Must be physically fit, as the role involves walking for extended periods.
