Professional Dog Groomer Kolby’s Klipz 929 Ann Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 Overview Nominated as one of Pocono’s Best Dog Groomers, Kolby’s Klipz Pet Grooming is looking for a skilled groomer to work in a fast-paced, high volume, full-service dog grooming salon. Must have dog grooming experience. We are looking for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to make a career in the grooming industry. We are looking for a motivated, friendly pet lover who is passionate about pets. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and will be a great team player. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and willing to help the dogs and cats be happy!

Requirements:

• Must be available to work from 8:00am-5:00pm weekdays and have Saturday availability. 5-day work week.
• Must be punctual and have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be willing to work with all breeds/sizes of dog and occasionally cats.
• Must have: a solid understanding of animal behavior; the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time; the ability to lift heavy equipment and animals;
• excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to groom all types of dogs including small dogs (less than 40 pounds), large dogs (more than 80 pounds), including puppies.
• Ability to groom all types of hair including long hair pets such as cats and dogs.
• Ability to use basic shears and other grooming equipment such as clippers.
• Ability to follow grooming instructions given by the groomer.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Be available for occasional weekend appointments.
